After two months of travelling around Europe, visiting Gibraltar was a very strange experience!! We thought we would make the most of speaking the language and went to get Sam a haircut. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but walking down the high street in Gibraltar was a very surreal experience. We could have been anywhere in the UK really.
I did find a friend though…
Walking into a typically British bar and ordering fish and chips was a bit of a culture shock having spent the previous day in Morocco and starting that day in Spain on a beach!
Gibraltar was extremely busy, quite a few of the roads don’t allow campervans down them and the majority of the parking spaces are strictly for cars only. Although we’d planned to spend a couple of days in Gibraltar, it wasn’t really set up for campervanners, so after a drive around the island we headed back to Spain.
